Our footwear professionals are constantly updating their skills in order to ensure excellent sole manufacturing services with environmentally sustainable materials. At Danimarc, we specifically adopt biobased TPU, whose percentage of biomass-derived source ranges from 50% to 70%. We also use regenerated TPU material composed of 60/70% recovered material from our production cycle, to which 30/40% "new" raw material is added.
Our soles made of environmentally sustainable materials can be made in a variety of colors, such as black, white, dark brown, green, military, and dark amber. Both biobased TPU and reclaimed TPU can also be used for other industrial applications.

Environmentally sustainable materials

For the production of soles with environmentally sustainable material, our company uses biobased TPU, thermoplastic polyurethane from wheat, sugar cane and vegetable oils. Our footwear products are environmentally and human health friendly.

TPU Biobased

BIOBASED materials are sourced from wheat, sugarcane and vegetable oils.

The percentage of biomass-derived source ranges from 50% to 70%.

It is possible to make all colors including clear.

Regenerated TPU

REGENERATED material is composed of 60/70% recovered material from our production cycle to which 30/40% "new" raw material is added. The material is reworked and at the end of the process it returns to have the technical and physical characteristics of a completely "new" material. Each batch has its own data sheet.

The colors available on the REGENERATED TPU are: BLACK, WHITE, DARK BROWN, MILITARY GREEN, DARK AMBER

Both BIOBASED and REGENERATED materials are recyclable.
